Someone Has Banned/Hackd my friend's account

No, I am not trying to recover my acc here
It's my friend's. Whenever I try to priv chat him it says error user does not exist!My friend is saying that his friend hacked him..He ain't sure he thinks it may be a ban. But why? He doesn't even post anything. Please Check
